Is this common? looks like frog-eye leaf spots?

Just about every cigar I have had has had them inside, and one was covered on the outside. I figured a few here and there were no big deal. But have seen hundreds lately. Maybe I'm wrong but the most spotted ones taste foul to me. Any ideas?

I tried CI and another online vendor. And a few shops around town. Some seem worse than others.

nope, you are going to see that in binder and filler. wrapper needs to look flawless, but water and sun spots, natural flaws like that, are going to happen. i see nothing overt to be concerned about. and that is NOT beetle sign. or worm sign, for that matter.

Yeah, binder and filler use tobacco that isn't necessarily bad but just isn't as perdy. I think it's pretty normal.

Water damage white spots are usually defined by clear outlines. They are harmless and won’t impact your experience.

According to Torano: The spots you see on the fillers leaves are sun /water spots. They are not an infestation of any kind. These spots, while certainly not as common as reflected in the picture you sent, can and do occur at times. (Marketing/Customer Relations Manager)

Alec Bradley said almost the same thing also. Except they didn't mention that they are not common like Torano did... (Vice President of Operations)

I didn't think entire leaves should be covered in spots. I've seen them sorting them. And they probably send bad ones off for short filler.

I roll my good cigars nubs into new cigar ettes. So maybe I just inspect them too closely.

One AB family blend was covered with over 10 spots on the wrapper...

You seem to have your answer. I think you'll find some companies weed cigars with those "imperfections" out in quality control.
