My wife who never asks for anything asked me for a book for Xmas. Its out of print and I've down a little searching both via internet and local used bookstores and so far no luck. Just hoping any of you book hounds could help me locate this book. The title is From the Rhine to the Shenandoah, volume
I, by Daniel W Bly. G1

Thanks a lot guys, not sure if this is as rare as it is more local (which in turn, I guess makes it rare lol). Its a genealogy of the migration of the Germans to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. We own an old civil war era home and only a handful of families have owned the house before us. The original owner, Snapp is noted in Vol 1. Thanks again! G1

I tried my book swap and had no luck, but I'm getting a lot of Google hits that you could buy these from the author himself. They were $30 hardcover, the info is dated 2002. Best of luck!

Thanks bro! Actually I did shoot him an email. Got shot back so I"m assuming its not live. The search I came up with that brought up his info was for Volume 3. I'm heading out west on Weds and make a few stops in used bookstores out there. G1
