Is there a book with different plans and options out there anywhere? I've searched and all I've found were links to either over priced kits or plans for desktops.

Although those are nice pictures, I think the OP is looking for plans, to which I've really not seen any online. For your best results, just start drawing your own, this will do a couple things, one, give you exactly what you're looking for and two, a complete idea of how it's built, piece by piece.
