Hey guys. For the past 14 years, I have volunteered on the staff of a local marching band as a percussion instructor. I teach the kids in the "pit" or Front Line Ensemble, the ones that play the big mallet percussion instruments (marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, etc.), drumset, various percussion toys (cowbell!), etc. Our setups always include one or more electronic instruments as well (keyboards, bass guitars, etc.), and the two keyboards that I donated to the program 8 years ago are finally starting to become unreliable (and are mostly held together with duct tape lol).

I am looking for someone who has one or more 61-key, touch-sensitive portable keyboards that they are looking to get rid of, either as a charitable donation or in exchange for some cigars. The high school that the program resides in has very little money to replace equipment (you should SEE some of the repairs I have had to rig over the years), and we just don't have enough in the budget to invest in replacements right now. If anyone has anything they are looking to part with, please hit me up via PM and we'll see what we can work out. Thanks in advance.

This is from our Championship performance last year (we went undefeated), the show was called "The Classics. These are amazing kids from 7th-12th grade, many of whom never played an instrument before they joined the program. They ALSO thank you in advance :)

Depending on when/where they were purchased, they can be as cheap as $100 or as much as a few hundred new. Used they can be as cheap as $20 at the church yard sale. We haven't set up any sort of crowd funding option at this point, I am not sure what kind of regulations are in place around that sort of thing since it's a school organization.
