ISO Wordpress Wizardry

So I'm trying to migrate content from my existing business website over to a Wordpress theme (specifically, this one), but I'm not a web design guy by any stretch, and I need a little help.

If anyone has experience designing/tweaking/implementing a wordpress theme, and wouldn't mind "teaching me to fish", I'd make it worth your while.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with WordPress I am just working with the code directly. Other wise I would be more then happy to help.

i I'm much better at joomla, but have some wordpress experience. What's your site now? I'll look at it and see what your up against.

I ended up just going back to html, since it's what I know.

So, now 15-20hrs later... I'm happy with it, the template was relatively easy to tweak, and the license was cheap - all good things.

Seems like WP/Joomla/Drupal make adding new content super-easy at the expense of being a pain-in-the-ass to customize and get your content looking all shiny.

Do appreciate the offers of assistance, though.
