Anyone ever have issues mailing an empty lighter through the mail/US Postal Service?

I searched the USPS website for restrictions on lighters but couldn't find it. Reason I ask is that I just mailed off an empty butane torch lighter on a trade. When I mailed it the counter guy asked about anything fragile, flammable, etc...I answered "no" - my take is that an empty lighter with a metal cap over the ignitor is quite safe. If it doesn't make it, I guess I'll know? :help:

Appreciate any input!

Should be fine. I've ordered lighters from the states, and they've made it up here to Canada with no issues. The guideline is that they must be empty though.

That Perdomo Vector lighter you showed the other day is going to make someone's week, eh.

Great to hear guys, thank you! I'm such a "goody goody"...LOL...one of my dad's retired buddies is ex-FBI and also an ex-US Postal Inspector...I could call him him, but then he'd have to haul me in...LOL

Yes, that Vector is SWEEEEEEET, I've used it to loosen rusted/frozen bolts in a pinch, seriously!
