It finally broke in LA after a week of over 100 degrees. Its been so humid in Ventura I thought we were back in Michigan.

The actuall temp is only :laugh: 90 degrees,but the accuweather.com realfeel temp is 108 degrees and it's only 1:30. I wish it would at least kill off my grass so I did not have to mow tonight.

That is even to hot to enjoy the pool. Just crank the central AC !

today was so hot......

i saw a robin pick a nightcrawler off of the lawn using an oven mitt.



it was 76 at 5:00am on my way to work.
at work i have no clue what the temp was but a cheap thermometer that a coworker brought in broke when the glue used to hold the glass in it melted. (thats no joke)
at 4:00pm it was 96
heat index was 110-115.

Yea heat index in downtown Atlanta today was rumored to be over 105... and being in the middle of the city makes it worse with all the asphalt and everything...

and oh yea this heat makes all the homeless smell AWESOME...

i couldnt imagine being in a big city when its this hot. we head down to Milwaukee every once in a while to catch a Brewer game and if its 85 or higher, its not even fun.
glad i live in the boonies.

Yea i thought about goin to the braves game yesterday but it would have been MISERABLE... i wouldnt be able to get drunk enough to enjoy it
