I have heard of them in the past, but only saw the classic pilot watches. they are very simple and did not interest me much. however, this past weekend I was leafing throught a catalog at a friend's house and one caught my eye: spitfire chronograph in stainless steel with brown crocodile leather strap.

what is the general consensus on this brand?

I'm looking for another daily watch that is in the same class as an omega seamaster aquaterra, stainless steel rolex, or a breitling.

I love me some watches. Besides the wedding ring, watches are my only bling bling. My best is a Citizen Eco-Drive (runs on solar), blue face with silver and gold colored metal band. Prettiest watch is an Invicta mechanical old fashioned looking 17 jewel skeleton watch, gold face and gold back with thick black leather band. The watches you mentioned are out of my league bro.

I have never heard of IWC but that isn't saying much, I am not a watch collector.

I do have a nice Citizen from my first anniversary and a Breitling I got last year for our fifth.

Wow, never heard of them..and they're in the same class as Rolex?

Although, I'm not a watch aficionado. Good luck!

Don't think I've heard of them, will have to check them out. I'm a watch freak, just can't afford them. My best current watch was a gift from an insanely generous brother on this very forum. See my gallery for pics...

Ooooh...I like! Understated...elegant even. There's one watch on the site that I can't find anywhere. It's a picture located in their "Novelties" section, but they don't actually show it. Nice watches.

I used to wear watches many years ago, but always found a way to break or lose them. These days I mostly use my cellphone. One day I hope to reach a point where I don't care what time it is ... and I can just live according to the natural solar cycle.

Like the wise man once said ... "Watches are confidence trick invented by the Swiss."

Same here, I mostly use my cell phone if I want to know the time.
