I laughed when I saw the part about the women controlling the budget.
My wife hasnt paid a bill or looked at our accounts since we got married.

When I used to go to the weekly gathering at Jungle Jim's in Ohio, there were always a lot of women there, many (but not all) of whom where smoking cigars as well. I'd say it was still 75-80% men who where actually burning a stick, but even so I was always surprised that there were that many women cigar smokers. Prior to that I had only met one in my life (back in collage).

At the Leaf I can count on one hand how many women I've seen enjoying a fine cigar. (Including events with most there husbands present) Maybe they are out there in numbers but I havn't seen them! She's in charge of my cigar budget.........:bottle:

My wife is on the board of the ICWS - good group of women who are not only big booster for the industry but genuine cigar smokers.

I just had dinner with them last Monday - I was kinda out numbered though - it was like me and 11 of them!

My gf used to smoke a cigar with me maybe like once a month/every other month. BUUUUT...she recently quit smoking cigarettes and we're trying to encourage her decision and feel right now its probably not a good idea to smoke anything.

At the DE event at my local B&M last Saturday there were almost as many women as men and seemed like most of them were smoking traditional cigars.

That's great! My wife smoke daily too - she has her own humidor, plus she's a vegetarian & naturalist. She doesn't like smoking in front of strangers though - or eating icecream, or bananas, etc... Lol!
