JD and Steve,
I'm not normally a Liga 9 guy. To be honest I much prefer the T52 any day over the 9s. To each there own right! Last year I picked up a 5er of the prerelease Liga 9 Corona Dobles @ the Burning Leaf event. I really havn't got around to smoking them till a few months ago. THIS CIGAR IS FANTASTIC! I don't know what it is in this size that makes the #9 blend shine. But to me it is surreal to be honest. The aroma and taste is so complex it is unbelievable to be honest.
Kudos to you guys for making one hell of a cigar. If the botl guys here havn't tried this size make it a priority. I havn't gotten too excited about a ton of NCs the last year or so but this one would be a daily smoke!
Thanks again,
Justin

I've only had one, but it was great.

Justin--I wonder if part of this was the age factor. If you have any LP#9s of other sizes that you've been saving for a year or more, light them up! I personally don't care for the #9 much at all until it's rested for over a year ... and at that point it's one of the finest maduro cigars on the planet, imvho. Rivals the Anejo ... which also needs the age.

The T52 is better young when compared with the #9, but the T52 is also better with additional age.

Hmmm...Never seen the #9 in a Corona Double. I've had the T-52 in the CD but not the #9...interesting! If I can get my butt down to the leaf soon I'll have to pic one up to try.
I do agree on the age issue though, but that would be said for any cigar.

I agree! I've had the DC # 9 and really like it. I have a DC 52 and will smoke here soon and I'm hoping it's even better than the # 9.

I don't smoke to many large cigars like the Liga Privada #9 Corona Doble, but I did light one of these bad boys up and it is a great smoke!

#9 toro has been the only one i have really cared for, especially with a little age on it. will have to try the dc as the t52 dc is my favorite of that bunch.

It's gotta be the age. I know from my first experience with the No. 9's (three years ago) I found them lacking. However, each year I have smoked a couple from the initial box and they have gotten better exponentially over time.

JD AND SAKA,
PLEASE-----Start to "date stamp" the LIGA boxes. Oh how I would love this to happen. I honestly cannot understand why only Cubans and Illusione brands (as far as I know) do this for there customers. Customer service from you both has been a high priority and this simple stamp would be appreciated.

There are a lot more, but I second the notion.

How odd, I've never really cared much at all for the T-52. To me (and guys, please don't kill me!) the T-52 has always seemed a little meh. I've never gotten much complexity from it (although I've never had one that's had more than a few weeks from the B&M in humidor). The 9, on the other hand, has always been delicious and complex, and gotten better with age. Never had a T52 with significant rest/age, so that might change things...

I've also never had a DC in either size, but you make me feel like hunting them down!

Also - Date stamps. I second this idea! They're so helpful and can't be that difficult to do, right?

DATE STAMPS!!!! Seriously, this is a must, imvho. Especially on sticks where age really matters to a lot of people.
