Had my very first Jericho Hill yesterday. This lancero was one of the best cigars I have ever had. I also tried a Four Kicks and while good was not as great as this lancero. For a 3rd cigar I had a Jericho Hill 44 which was good too. Some friends and I drove over to the Tacoma area and went to an outstanding cigar lounge called Smokey Joes. Definitely will put these lanceros in humidor rotation and going to push my b&m to stock them.

I've had a few of the JH and while a decent stick, I was looking for some spice/pepper flavors to give it some variation. If you like smoking straight chocolate bars, this would be for you.

This is exactly why I love them.

OP:
I personally like the Toro the best. Id recommend giving it a try. The whole line is incredibly solid in my opinion

I liked those quite a bit - which surprised me because I generally dislike anything with a San Andres wrapper.

At least on MY tongue I felt there was some pepper as did my friend who had one. I thought it also had some sweetness to it. I enjoyed the heck out of it. Could be that the Four Kicks wasn't quite as good maybe due to the fact I just had smoked the lancero minutes before. Will buy another and give it a shot.

Personally, I prefer the Four Kicks, but it would definitely come across as a little bland right after a JH lance. I would have smoked them in the reverse order.

Also, glad you enjoyed Joes! Great place. I don't get over there nearly as often as I'd like to due to my work/family life (it's actually been a year, today, since I was last there), but it's a really great place I wish I could frequent more often.

I have not had the lance but I have had both the JH and the Four Kicks. I would agree with you about the JH, I really enjoyed this stick. I've still got 2-4 Four Kicks sitting around. Hope they continue to smoke well for you!
