Is anyone else watching Jericho on CBS?

I like the show and last nights "four horsemen" episode was pretty good.

Also I have a DVR, but I like how this show and others are now available online. I can not count the times that the local stations weather team broke into a show to talk about the storm passing through that I had recorded it days earlier. I thought that this was going to happen last night with a thunderstorm passing through. Now you can at least see the part that are missed online.

I was told of the show, and have seen the (On-Line) preview but didn't get to see the show yet. I'm told the Ham-Radio guy is a Shotgun totin' dude and a recluse. This show is a BIG BUZZ in the Radio community giving (At Least) some notice of Hams. After seeing the preview I'd like to see it but didn't know what day it was on, I'll have to pay some attention next time on Wednesday night I guess.. Tell me about the Radio guy, and be nice! I'm not Crazy, or carry a Shotgun but I Drink Coffee, Smoke Cigars and own a Radio or two!.. HEY, MAYBE I AM NUTZ?...

I think the character you are talking about is Robert Hawkins. He is has told people that he is a former police officer from St Louis.

He did not seam like a recluse until last night and has offered to help the local officials several times but keeps getting told to just take care of his family. They did show a few guns that he had last night and he seems to be building a basement cinder block closet of sorts to hide is wares.

Ham radio is about the only communication they have had with the outside world except for a brief satellite TV signal from Asia.

Also, I think that the full versions of all 3 of the show aired are online not just the preview.

It's interesting. There are almost too many characters and the pace is a bit off. Not very believable. Last night they had the deadly fallout rain and as soon as the rain stopped, the radiation had dissipated which was just stupid.

There seems to be some meat to the characters and the plot is attention grabbing. I fear terrorists getting nukes and setting them off in our cities, so it strikes home with me. The isolation of the town is also interesting. Don't know if I like it yet or not.

Look like I'm going to try and see this next Wednesday. And I think in some of the Talk someone said the Ex-Cop or something.. WELL, good thing is it does show Hams in some good sence. A Few Years back when the East cost lost power from N.Y into I thing as far as Wisconsin, US Hams were all there was, but people don't like the Antennas much I guess.. As for "Terrasco" I think of the same thing, even in Texas (DFW area) it was a big target. Here in the Detroit area, the manufacturing is a BIG Bulls-eye, and Canada from right here in my office is 22Miles as a crow flies.. When all else Fails, Call a Ham!
