I have an immediate need for 4-6 experienced Wireless Field Technicians in Portland and Seattle to perform site surveys.

Job description is listed below, the position is a new one for me and I am not entirely familiar with the skill set needed to complete the desired tasks. A pre-screening will be performed and then the client will review resumes and possibly setup an interview from there.

  • Coordinate LEC (Verizon, Time Warner etc, a company that brings fiber to a site) Walks with LEC Rep.
  • Provide photos of site (Photo check sheet)
  • Provide site sketch with accurate measurements of slab/ building and equipment.(see example sketch)
  • Provide accurate sketch of trenching and boring route including distances.
  • Provide accurate sketches of proposed conduit routes and distances for fiber, AC power, and DC power.
  • Identify location with adequate clearance for the proposed Argus Te43 Cabinet and door swing on outdoor and rooftop sites.
  • Identify conduit routing, method and materials from MPOP Telco room to AT&T equipment in tenant improvement sites. Use existing chases when ever possible.
  • Identify locations where core drilling will be necessary.
  • Provide completed POR form with materials and labor estimates. (POR will be provided)
  • Drop off electronic data on thumb drives at Client office in Kirkland every other day.
  • Client construction manager will field train

The position is a fixed daily rate of $300.00 based on a 10 hour day. The rate is all-inclusive and the employee would need to cover any transportation related expenses as well as per diem out of the daily rate. We can break out a portion of the $300.00 as per diem to help offset expenses and taxes.

We are working now on getting a site list so we can get a better idea of the locations.
