Jobs Outside the Box

Wondering if anyone else has been creative in finding work during our lovely economy.

I have taken over as the neighbor's gardener...Difficult work; but hey...a bit of tax-free cash at the end of each month.

Considering that I have brand and retail marketing experience with such companies as Disney and Mattel, the gardener gig is definitely outside the box for me!

Anyone else?

Yeah I have a degree in Biochemistry, but in this lovely economy I do side jobs like mowing and gutter cleaning and even painting and general house repair. I primarily work for one elderly lady but sometimes the neighbors holler at me for misc. jobs. It's hard work sometimes but the money is nice.

I hear you...It's humbling as well, and it makes you appreciate the value of ANY job.

My dad is a pilot but the airline industry is so awful right now...he works for a trucking company and drives for them currently but he really enjoys it so thats good!
