This blend has become one of my favorites so I thought I would share the joy of this spirt with everyone.

Information: 18yr old blended malt. roughly $70/bottle

Nose: Sweet, with a hint of toffee spice

Taste: Gentle spice, honey, vanilla, toffee, and a touch of peat

Finish: Very smooth and creamy

Cigar Pairings: I don't usually pair my cigars, but I did try a couple of mild-medium bodied cigar with slight cocoa flavor and they went well together.

I've tried this malt neat, on the rocks, and 'frozen". The website suggested to freeze the bottle and pour some in a chilld glass. I must say that at first this sounded a little odd, but it was awesome.

I agree with tedski, the gold is better for the money. I love the gold, and find that it pairs very well with cigars, which is rare for me.

MMMMM Scotch......even better, good scotch. I have never tried it frozen before. Though I do like an ice cube in mine.
