It is a grand Saturday :clap: following an even grander Friday!!!!
I had the pleasure of greeting my very first grandbaby, and a grandson at that, last night at 7:11pm. :grin: My stepson and daughter-in-law are now the proud parents of a 6lb 13oz baby boy, Tristan Isaac. I haven't been able to stop grinning yet! :stretchgr The baby and mother are both doing good.
The baby was about 3 weeks early and has had some apnea spells where he will quit breathing for a second, so they have him on a monitor and oxygen, but the nurses said that a lot of baies that are born early have this issue. They are giving him some caffeine to stimulate his central nervous system. I'm anxious to hear what the pediatrician has to say this morning after he has had a chance to look at the baby.
