This thing is an absolute beast. A lot of people think its too big, but i haven't had any problems and i like the overall size. Hell that is why i bought it. Watching videos and surfing the net is so easy now.

I just got an HTC One X, liking it a lot. I like having a screen that's bigger than the iPhone, but I couldn't go up to the Note. Too large.

Any recommendations for Android apps?

This is defiantly on my radar. I played with one at best buy last weekend and I loved it. I rarely use my phone to talk to people so the size is great for me. Only problem is I gotta switch to att....but my contract will be up in august. Cant wait

Yeah I thought it was absolutely too big until I held it in my hands. Then it was not near as big as I had built it up to be. That being said it is still a big phone. It does fit into the pockets of my jeans and athletic shorts completely and with ease. So straining to take it in and out of my pocket is not an issue at all.

As far as apps go, I switched from an iPhone 4, so I am having to learn how the Android OS works. A couple things I got though were a flashlight app and battery percentage app. My brother was telling me about an app that you can download that automatically kills your apps when you go to the home screen, so you do not boggle down the ram and it saves power.

I like it, soon we will all have a true all in one.

Phone, tablet, laptop all morphed into one package.

Given the choice of giving up my laptop at home or my driod my laptop gets dropped in a heartbeat.

I'd recommend getting LOOKOUT as well. It's a security program that works well.

If you do get it, make sure to add it to your Ignore list in your task killer app. I also ignore Messages, Facebook.

Also Cerberus is basically the same thing but a little more advanced. I love it!

I have the Galaxy Nexus and love it, it came out before the Note and I'm on Verizon anyway. But there was already details of it before I got my phone and I thought it would be to big. Now the Galaxy Nexus is not a small phone by no means, it has a 4.65 screen, after using it awhile there is no doubt I could get use to the size of the Note and would love it. Thing I'm most jealous of is the stylus, I even bought one for my phone but it's not the same LOL.

Honestly, i know quite a few people have made a comment on the Note having a stylus, i have used it twice since i have had the phone and once was to draw a picture(i drew a dick by his face in his senior picture). The accuracy on this screen is really good. It is not iphone good, but still very good.

I still have no complaints about the size. My only slight complaint would be battery time is not too great. All in all though i got what i wanted and more out of this "phablet".

I'll be getting this after all the fuss is over and the price comes down...we're on an AT&T plan and the phone should be ready for us to upgrade for next to nothing by that time. I like it because we travel a lot and it's everything in one and that's great for not having to lug around a phone, laptop, camera, etc.
