I decided to get wino #2 up and running so ordered some 65% beads to use in the existing and moving the 70% to wino #2.
(65% will be for upstairs and ready to smoke, 70% will be downstairs for long term storage/aging... at least thats what I tell myself).
Just so happens that the weather got warm (in the 80s) when I did this and I had to leave town. I also added a La Cross monitoring system (that I know is not as accurate as Id like) to keep an eye on things while I was out. NEVER add something like this if you can't be home for a week to see what its actually reading. Throw in that my stick count reached capacity and is now preventing air flow like it had before and this all makes for a stressful situation.
Well... the heat has affected the RH and my other hygros (Caliber IV's and Weather station - all calibrated and on par) were reading way off as well. Even after a week of the new beads being in there.
Ive done a mental reset now and have removed all hygros for calibration. The weather is cooling off a bit for a couple days so this should let me see whats going on again. Its been tough keeping my cool (no pun intended) while things were not looking right but I just have to trust the beads more than I trust the electronics. Things are smoking great so no real issue.
Now I just need to STOP buying and start smoking more...
Anyway... like I said, just needed to vent this all out of my system for some reason.
