I know it's been a long time since my last post but I have been lurking on and off for the past 6 months. My unit (C/1-227 ARB) returned from a deployment to Iraq back in April of 2010, and to be honest since I haven't spent much time online at all. Between spending time with my family, marrying my high school sweet heart, and training for yet another upcoming deployment in June of this year to Afghanistan I haven't had much time to myself.

The amount of support we received while deployed from the BOTL was phenomenal. Every care package we received from you guys went to good use, and was a huge moral booster on a regular basis. So from the bottom of my heart I'd like to send out a big thank you to all the troop supporters out there. You make our jobs a little bit easier. God bless!

P.S. I promise I'll do my best to start spending more time on the forums now that my life is giving me a little bit of a breather.

On a side note, any chance I could get an Admin to change my user name to TonyB? Short for Anthony Bailey but I'd like to keep it simple lol. I think every BoTLer I've ever spoken to thinks my name is actually Joe lol. It was just short for GIJoe. Thanks!

Thanks man! Good to hear from you too. I'm actually in Colorado now at fort Carson for high altitude training in prep for the 'stan. The unit has completely changed since we returned. You know how it is when you get back from a deployment. Right now our company has over half of it's aviators and crew chiefs straight out of AIT and flight school. It's pretty rough going right now lol.

Long story short I had a bit of a traumatic event occur toward the end of my deployment. It cause me to drift away from pretty much all of the online communities I was a part of. Just know that I'm back now, and no one is safe.

Thanks for all the kind words! We don't really have an address at the barracks we're staying at. I have a house in Belton, Texas but won't we home until toward the end of this month.
