I know that I'm a day early, but I was thinking about Memorial Day this morning and all the men and women who have served and who are currently servicing in the US Armed Forces. I personally have never served, but have had a lot of friends and family members who have and I just wanted to tell you guys and gals thanks for all you have done.

I don't want this thread to be political in anyway, because I know we can argue night and day about the merits of war, but all in all we experience more freedom and luxuries than pretty much anyone in the world. And for this my family, we are eternally grateful to those who have served our country. I will continue to keep the soldiers who are continuing to fight for ours and others freedom in my prayers and for those who have lost friends and family or personally are suffering from the service that have provided for me. Once again I want to say thank you and God bless.

Thanks for all your thanks. The job can be rough sometimes, but it makes it so much easier when we can feel your appreciation. I'll be working at my second job on Memorial Day, but when I get home I'll make a point to light up something good.

I am remembering several friends, Semper Fi my brothers and honoring all the heros this weekend. Forty years..........sometimes it seems like yesterday.

I feel most obliged to our service men and women. Thank you very much for the job you do. It transcends "job". I recognize that and am grateful that we have you to do it (and do it so very well, too).

It's thanks to the service men and women of our country that we can sit in our own backyards in perfect comfort and smoke a cigar. So when I light up today, I'll be sure to give thanks where it is due.
