So, I just won a Guitar Hero tournament and a trip to L.A. at a chance to meet Metallica! I would love to meet up with any of you guys if possible - I don't know when the trip will be. I would also like to check out Pete's shop if possible. I'll have to check with him! I have no idea what to do out in L.A., as I've never been west of MN. Anyone have any advice, or things to do/see?

It was a head to head tournament, final four style - but the championship song was "One". I was behind the whole song until the solo, then I came back to win!

Well that makes more sense as I love the U2 song One, it didn't seem to be something that would be on Guitar Hero.

OH MY GOSH! That is so sweet, Josh! You're MY Guitar Hero! I like that game, but have yet to even beat it on expert. But I play the guitar for real, and just don't feel like putting in the time to do it for the game.

Lots to do here, besides meet and greet the local brothers. Venice Beach can be interesting, Magic Mountain if you like roller coasters are just a couple. Depends on where you will be, and how far you are willing to drive.

Venice is really cool if you are looking for you nee guitar hero acessories. i.e. a new bong or some organic rolling papers. J/K venice has some interesting folks. Several guys live up there, and I'm sure a few of them could set something up to meet a Pete's. I'll be missing the fun, unless you want to cruise down the freeway an hour or so. Good luck in the competition.
And Wade, how could you forget about metallica ONE? That was my generation's Stairway to Heaven. Only because that was the first and only song everyone knew how to play on guitar.
