Picked up a converted fridge off Craig's List last night for $125.00. The kegging system he has retails now for $220, he bought it for $150. The fridge has one tap coming out the side now, I plan to add 2-3 more taps for homebrew and keep one sanke for commercial beers. :bottle:

Woohooo to having beer on tap at home. Pictures will be coming once I get it all plumbed up.

Yep, have a 5lb aluminum tank now, looking to get a 20lb which I will run outside the fridge.

 That's the way to go. I wento a party the other day and they were running it with the old hand pump. but had it plumbed through the frezzer with a long coil of tubing to keep it cool. It was lame, they had to open the door every 3 beers. They said it worked good if there were only 3-4 of them hanging out. I said, yeah but you have to drink the keg in one day or it goes flat. "yeah, we've noticed that" I showed them the light.

Aaaah a kegerator. I miss my kegerator I had to leave behind in Fl. However I also in a sense don't miss it because it was the cause of my growth...my around the middle growth. I've since lost that weight here and am back down the high 150s to low 160s. Just for reference that weight doesn't sound like much but I'm only 5'6" tall.

I do hope for a kegerator again though I'll just have to work out more!

Nice pick up. Beer on tap is the best, especially when it is your own.
