Curious if there is any interest in this. I know there aren't many books out there set up to allow lending, but some are, and I'm betting it becomes more and more as time goes by. I have the Hunger Games series lent out to a buddy right now. I have one other series of books that is lendable as well.

I'm thinking about a listing of books available to lend through other brothers with Kindles. We could do it with a thread or do it in a Social Group.

Thoughts?

Could probably include both, but the Nook already uses a much more open format for their books.

I did hear rumors that Kindle was going to start working with Libraries here pretty soon, will have to see.

We just bought a Nook Color for our daughter's birthday next month. I would get in on this, but I doubt any of you would want some girly pre-teen christian books to read...or maybe you would??? :dunno:

Love my nook color. For those of you that are a little on the tech savvy side, you can make it into a full android tablet (ala Motorola Xoom) with cyanogenmod, (http://www.cyanogenmod.com/devices/nook-color). It's pretty fun to play around with, and I enjoy the capabilities of jumping back and forth between the stock image, and the full android tablet functionality when I want to play games or whatever.

I finally upgraded from an OR kindle to a kindle 3, and only because my wife walked off with my gen 1.

I'd be up for swapping some books.

Anybody with a nook color know a way to use the back button in the web browser from the bottom of a page. It seems I have to scroll to the top to go back?

Nevermind...I found it. Just slide your finger from right to left in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
