L.a. Noire

Hey all,

Just pre-ordered my copy of Rockstar's new game L.A.NOIRE. It is similar to GTA when it comes to maps and gameplay but the technology with the graphics and the actors makes the game even more realistic. Your an LAPD officer in 1947 and you have to move your way up the ranks from patrol to homicide.You have to judge by facial expressions and body language wether or not they are lying. Just want to see if anyone else is going to get it.

It is worth it. Can't stop playing actually. Just hit disk 3.

its alright. its a pretty straight forward, stick-to-task kind of game. you can walk wherever and drive wherever but its not the same as gta. they should add a feature where you can become a dirty cop or something. something that really takes advantage of the huge map. the investigative part gets repetitive sometimes. also, examining dead bodies is really creepy. not a fan of that part of the game. the story line is pretty cool and the models are well done. overall, a good, long game to play. as good as gta? no, not really.

From what I hear, the "dirty cop" aspect is being looked at for the DLC.
