I saw these cigars, and since they were $4 a stick, I picked up 7 of them without really knowing much about them. I got home a couple hours early today, and since it was a rather mild afternoon, I decided to head to the garage for a smoke. This was next man up in the humi, and man alive what a great smoke.

The taste was very subtle. The first half blended seamlessly with my ice tea. As the second half burned back down the taper, it tasted of oak transitioning into toast at the nub. I went to set it aside 3 times, but couldn't. What really got me the most though, was how smooth it was. Nothing acrid or harsh at all. No need to purge even once. It was like smoking velvet. Even the retro-hale, which can sometimes irritate my nose, was just warm and fuzzy. Since I've started smoking again, most everything I've had has been Nicaraguan. I fell in love with the LP#9, and loved those flavors, but it's been hit and miss with some of those Nicas. It's either a wonderful chocolate ganache, or a tire fire. I may now have to really give more Dominicans a shot.

I know this isn't a new cigar, but I'm a noob, so it's new to me. I really can't say enough nice things about this smoke. It wasn't orgasmic, but there was definitely some heavy petting. It's kept a smile on my face for the last 3 hours.

One of my favorites! I never hear much about them. But damn solid little stick. Ran out recently. As long as you buy them not in the tube can catch for a decent price.
