La Casita Criolla - whenever they came out I bought a box and put them to sleep. Smoked one this morning. Holy jumpin Jezuz this thing tastes like melted butter. The only way to describe it. Unreal. Reminds me of the Partagas 150 in flavor.

Just smoked one the other day. Very interesting smoke. It didn't really hit my flavor profile, but "interesting" was the best word I could describe it with.
I wasn't sitting down and paying attention to it to do a review, but I was getting notes of things like steak au ju. Odd things like that.

Very interesting, I also have some that have been resting since the initial release...believe we're at about a year.

Interestingly enough, its one of very few of Pete's sticks that don't do it for me. I think too much broadleaf killed it. Call me crazy, but they tasted like burnt steak :dunno:

I didn't care for it either, but that was about 10 months ago...Definitely will have to revisit, in my gut I thought they'd do well with rest.

Same here...This is one Tat that I wish I had not purchased. I got a graphite taste with a long metallic finish....And typically I gravitate towards CBL like a moth to a flame.

Generally love Tats, yet this one disappointed.

just to reiterate, this is definitely one cigar that needs pairing, namely COFFEE. seriously, even though it is about default level for my palate, i rarely dig on these straight, but with a french press of something good, totally different beastie.

and, yes, i think these have come along nicely, but still ain't ready to raid the stash.

those of you that didn't like it when it came out (me included), do yourself a favor and try it now. time has been very good to this stick, and will continue to do so. i recently picked up a box cheap and do not regret it! the first release fausto is also improving with age
