La Crosse Alerts Remote Humidor Hygrometer

So I travel most of the year for work as a dirty roadie and wanted a way to monitor my wineador at home from the road so the misses wouldn't have to worry about it. I picked up a La Crosse Alerts system and it's been working really nicely for the past few months. I have it set up so it sends me a text and and email alert when temp gets too high or low and also the same alerts for humidity. Now I know how my stash is doing when I'm away and I can ask the wife to spritz the beads when needed. Thought this might be helpful to others as well.

How accurate is the La Crosse compared to your other digital hydrometers. I assume it works on your phone or any computer? Very cool idea

The unit I have reads 2% high but it's easy enough to remember. It works through a web page but I have it saved on my iPhone so it works like an app. It works on anything you can read a web page with really.
