La Flor Air Bender

I really like La Flor Dominica's, atleast the ones I've had. They have now released this cigar "La Flor Air Bender" and I cannot get it around here or find it as a single online. I would like to know more about it before buying.
Has anybody had one of these yet and if so what was your take on it?

Nobody has them yet except Jack Schwartz...they got the exclusive pre-release. Some of us at the Leaf got some because we happen to live near Schwartz.

They'll be generally available very soon.

Jon Lipson handed me one at holts the other week, and made sure to mention (I would assume because of the recent accolades) that the wrapper is the same, and the blend is similar to the Double Press and Habano Pefecto.

I found the cigar to be much milder than I expected, or the back-story would dictate, with barely a ghost of spice, and didn't develop much. I let it die on the vine 2/3's into it. I'm hoping the ones in shops are a little more interesting than the one I smoked...

Nice stick, but not as full or flavorful as other LFD products. The best for me was the robusto. Seemed to have the most pop. I know Sirpantsornot got a sampler of the 4 vitolas, maybe he will chime in. :thumbsup:

I haven't smoked any of them yet. I will move them up on my "to smoke" list.

I really liked this cigar. Started off with strong spice and earthiness. After about a inch and a half, toned down to a medium earthy, coffee overtone. The last half kicked in with more strength and straight forward tobacco taste. A bit of that earthiness remained.

I liked it.

I smoked one yesterday and enjoyed it.

It has that dry mouth feel of the Coronado with the zing of the Ligero cabs. I'll have to smoke some more before I give it my final approval, but it was a good smoke.
