As for the La Verite, I plan on leaving this box sealed up for awhile. But I will be going back to the shop for a single later this week.

The label on the box reminds me of Beaujolais Nouveau labels, which I guess fits perfectly with Pete's desire to equate these somewhat to vintaged wines. Looks amazing!

As for the La Verite, I plan on leaving this box sealed up for awhile. But I will be going back to the shop for a single later this week.

Good idea. I would do the same. And smoke one a year and see how they age and make notes each year you smoked this cigar so you can compare notes. Even if your palate changes you can still get an idea on the changes that will happen.

I too try to pick up a few singles to let a box age intact. Luckily, when the Frank was released, Pete was actually in DC so I was able to get a few singles and keep my box intact. Gotta check with my retailer to see if he's going to have singles of the Verite and Lespirit but I'm assuming he will as he usually gets decent numbers of all of Petes releases. Haven't heard anything yet as to eta but I've been on jury duty for the past week and a half! G1

I actually smoked a preproduction of one of these (the L'esprit de La Verite) about 14 months ago for a review...I should prob do another review to compare now that they are more then a year older
