Yuppers it was a bitter sweet day at work, I pack up 8 boxs of office crap and had it shiped to SC. It was very hard leaving a great crew of Dispatcher that worked for me, these guys and gals are the best. We all had a great time at work every day, It was a fun place work, I beleave in working hard and playing hard, and we did that.... But it was time to move on with my life and a new job and new place. I'll be packing up the truck Mon and Tue next week and headed Savanna River SC. We have made an offer on a nice 4 bedroom home, just have to sell my house here in Northern MN.....I'll be going out ahead and the lil lady will stay behind to deal with house and all that BS (That poor woman but she is best person to deal with that stuff, but I think we all would say that ....)

So a ? I have, :scratchhe my Cigars have been in 5 almost full desk tops, and a very full coolidor, I move them all down in the basement where it stays a cool 54 all year around, and keep the humi's all at or close to 65 to 68,..... what about the major change in temps outside while travel to the south????? I was thinking :scratchhe of buying another Ice chest w/lots of Beads and Humi packs, putting all the desk top in the 2nd one, then make it another Coolidor when I get in place and all set up, (the lil lady even asked how I was going to get all those Damn Cigars there) ....She is a good woman :togetherl (as long as she sells the house I may just keep her) .....So what do u guys think about the transport of cigars 1200 miles give or take, two days drive ????

They will be fine. Either get a big ass coller from Costco or dont worry about it. I have moved my cigars more times than Carter has little pills. Most of the time I wrap the humis in a big blanket and keep them in the car. I move them into the hotel room at night when I stop. This makes them real handy for those mid drive urges as well.

Let them rest a litte when you get there is all.

Just drop them off at my house on your way and you won't have to worry about all those temp changes.:smokingbo

What Chuck said, Brad. I've moved mine from DE to OK, OK to TX and finally TX to AZ. No special care and no problems either.
