Obama stated in his campaign that he would not raise taxes on any American making 250k or less. Many, many B&M owners fall way short of this number. Please contact your Senator, Congressman or the office of the President and tell him that raising taxes on tobacco would be going back on his promise. Below is a link to find your rep.

Good idea Wade and I for one will do that.
Obama has already admitted he is retracting many of his campaign promises (surprise, surprise) and unfortunately this will probably just be one of them. However; if enough voices are heard it just may have some impact. Miracles do happen.

I hate to pop the balloon, but we have a democrat in the oval office, both the house and senate have a democratic majority, and tobacco is this nations biggest scape goat. Thank God the proposed cigar tax was brought down to $.40 per cigar. This one is pretty much over. Live to fight another day.
