Has anyone been to the LCDH in Playa Del Carmen?

Just wondering what to expect (besides astronomical prices!) as far as stock, location, etc.

I have been to a few other LCDH's in other places...Just wondering how this one is.

Thanks in advance!

Happy Smoking :)

It's a pretty small shop, not a huge selection and a little on the expensive side.

The shop is aaaaaalllllll the way down at the end of the strip. I remember we had trouble finding it. There are probably 10 other shops on that strip selling fakes.

But its pretty cool to be in one and see all the cigars. There is a lounge upstairs.

Hey, thanks for the info! I kinda figured out where it is on a map, and it is on the far end of 5th Street as you said.

Thanks again :)

Will you be visiting the ruins?
Definitely go to the ruins, and bring a bathing suit.

Climb up the stairs on the small cliff and you'll find one of the most beautiful beaches.

When you walk into the ruins its up on your left (i think).

I agree, the ruins are nice, but the views are great. Especially when you come over the cliff and see the beach.

We also went into the town to Tulum and got something to eat at one of the local places. It was one of the best meals we had down there.

The chitzen itza (sp?) ruins were by far the most impressive. The ball court is unbelieveable, and the acustics are crazy. You can stand on either ends and carry on a conversation with someone 100 yards away while facing away from each other. I have been intrigued by the central and south american indians since I was a kid. I soaked up info on the trip like a sponge. I would love to go back. Oh yeah and the chicks in Cancun were about as easy as finding a fake cuban cigar in mexico.

Thanks to everyone all for the replies and suggestions!

We definitely plan to ht the ruins at Tulum. The beaches DO look awesome right around there....Gracias for the tip.

As far as the easy women in Cancun....Since I am vacationing with my wife and 5 year old daughter, I think I must pass...This time :)

I will schedule my visit to the LCDH in Playa Del Carmen the first day and stock up on stogies for the rest of the week...Can't wait!

Happy smoking.

You definitely have to see the ruins. Pictures don't do it justice. Glad I trekked out there when I was in town.
