Has anyone had this problem before where the wrapper has green spots on it, almost resembling a tree leaf in color.

It's not mold, just certain spots on the brown wrapper that are very green. It's really weird.

I was really freaked out the first time I saw a cigar like that...should I smoke it? Let it sit a while and see what happens?

Smoke it; it's normal enough.

I believe those are called sunspots. It occurs when droplets of water magnify the sunlight and discolor the leaf in that spot. I think.
Whatever, they're harmless.

Cuba's not as big on quality control of wrapper color as we are used to with NCs. They won't get rid of a cigar because it doesn't look good. They're Cuban, they can do that.

Green not bad usually, blue however is bad. Blue is usually going to be mold and should be removed throughly before smoking and before placing in your storage unit.
