That's hilarious... I actually cut through Lawrence Ave to get to 90/airport as a short cut depending on the time of day and pass this place... it isn't in the greatest neighborhood ... but they seem so neighborly with their toy collection methods... lol.
Ahhh the Admiral Theatre... Got to spend a night hanging out with Jenna Haze there once. Good times....
Not a bad place, although they have a gift shop with plenty of um, toys, already if you're the kind of person that likes to give their own stocking stuffer.
Good promotion though, regardless of the venue, I always like seeing how much Chicagoans really give back this time of the year.

Haha, as requested, the hanging out with Jenna Haze for a night story...
We (a small group of old friends) took our buddy who had never set foot into a strip club before to The Admiral Theatre for his birthday as a surprise. We blind folded him at his place all the way until he was sitting in front of the main stage. Unbeknownst to us, porn star Jenna Haze was guest starring there for the night while she was in Chicago. She saw us walking him in blindfolded and actually approached me to see what was going on that we were leading a blind folded guy through a strip club. (you'd think that they'd see this a little more often, apparently not) So I explained it to her that he's a bit of a square, so we wanted to surprise him with a long night of tits and drinking. She thought that was awesome and I struck up a little sarcastic funny conversation of introductions. Next thing you know, we're all just hanging out for the night. If she wasn't on stage or backstage, she was sitting in our booth laughing like one of the guys. Pretty cool girl, with a very dirty sense of humor. I even have a picture of her sitting on my lap wearing just the boots she was wearing for her schoolgirl routine. I'd post it, but it'd definitely take some editing before it'd be okay to do so.
