Great news. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to both the Dems and Republicans. Sure a Republican won but the vote was swung entirely by Independent votes. These are the same independent voters that have gained momentum the past few years and stand poised to vote out the "politics as usual", big government career politicians.

Well this is just awesome. Kennedy rolled over in his grave last night. I hope this is a sign of the times are changing. It would be pretty chicken $hit for congress to try and pass this before he gets seated.

Quote from the AP article:

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pledged to seat Brown immediately, a hasty retreat from pre-election Democratic threats to delay his inauguration until after the health bill passed."

I hope that it happens that way. He should be seated immediately.

It is great that Brown was elected. Hopefully this is a call to the progressives in BOTH parties that Americans are tired of this BS Congress and the current administration is trying to shove down our throats. I am not sure how Brown will do but it certainly is a message being sent.
