Hey BOTL, I know we're all busy during this time of year, but I'm hoping we can all take a minute out of our day and make someone's life a bit brighter.
Below is a very touching and sad story about Safyre, a girl who lost so much due to an act of arson.

The 7th and 8th grade students at my school are making Christmas cards for this girl, and we're sending them out by the end of the week.
In doing this, I really took a step back and realized just how lucky I am to be here today. I've been through a lot, survived a lot, have an amazing family, and have been supported the entire way, no matter how fucked up I was. It put things in perspective, and made me realize (once again) that this time of year isn't about what you give or get in material items, but about the love that is shared.
This girl has lost most of her support group, why not take a minute away from your busy days and send her a Christmas card?
