He mentioned on Monday Night Football, one of the reasons he made this one was he was unhappy with Rocky V and the way the collection ended. So hopefully he made up for it.

I think Rocky (the first one) is a stellar film, and it's a shame that so many people who haven't seen it can't get past the stereotype they perceive of the Rocky films to truly appreciate it for what it is--a story of a nobody getting a shot at greatness.

Unfortunately, I think that Rocky II took away some of the original magic. Then III and IV turned the franchise into a circus sideshow, more Hollywood than anything else. V just turned my stomach; it's too painful to watch.

This one, however, seems to have a LOT of promise (even if the video game angle is lame). To borrow a title from Andrew Vachss, it seems to be what everyone wants: "Another Chance to Get It Right"

I work out often and I'm in great shape. I've seen some of the previews of this movie...and all I can say is I hope I look like that at 60!!!!!

I think I'm in good shape and I'm nowhere near that level of fitness and I'm not even 30!

I took my 9 year old son to see this movie last night. Very nice. My son was bored until the point where rocky started to work out hard, He loved the fight though. The movie really did a good job of wrapping up the series in a much better way. I've always been a big Rocky fan and was very bummed with Rocky 5. I'm glad Stallone came back and finished the series right.

gotta agree with ya 100%. the first Rocky was awesome. everyone after that just got worse and worse. and even though this film is getting good reviews, im gonna wait till it comes out on DVD. then if its bad, ive only wasted $1.50

He looks good for his age. I never saw the whole series of Rocky's. I'll probably wait until this comes out on DVD.
