I was recently gifted one of these in a bomb from SkinsFanLarry after our little wager over the skins/boys game. I must say this is one of the first Drew Estate cigars that I was practically blown away by. I don't think my tastes are refined enough to do a full blown review, but even my unrefined pallette can tell you that it was an amazingly smooth smoke with an overall taste of light sweetness with notes of coffee/chocolate. An amazing smoke. It's too bad these are as HTF as they are. At the very end I think I let it get a little too hot as it started to get a little bitter. It was most likely my fault. Up until the very end of the last 1/3 it was probably one of the best smokes I've had.

Thanks again Larry.

I have exact cigar in my humi now. I was just gifted it and have been wanting to try one for a while now. It is sitting right next to my flying pig. Both have been tempting me, but need a bit of rest.

Nice pics. Have heard this is a good smoke. I have one in the humi that may not make it much longer and have some t52's coming.

Nice review. This is a great stick, I still don't know what I like better, no.9 or the T52 but both are in my top 20

Anthony, glad you liked the Liga Privada No. 9, wait till you try the Liga Privada T-52 I sent with it, it's a completely different animal from the No. 9!

Yep, and the FLying pig is a very different stick as well...

Drew Estate has really turned around and is putting out some MAJORLY great sticks (and they are consistantly good, which is even harder)...

The Flying Pig will be Very high on my cigars of the year...

Thanks for the review Anthony, I have a few of these resting as well. After yours and a few other endorsements I think I'll be putting flame to one soon. Stay safe bro.

By the way, I've been corresponding with Steve Saka (President of Drew Estates) lately over an issue I had, and he's WAY cool and has been handling my customer service issue personally. Good people over there.

Love both sticks, but I definitely prefer the #9 toro. The flying pig was great too, I just don't care for the RG as much.

I tried my first flying pig yesterday. Regretfully I was not able to finish it between family function and weather. I will sparking up some more soon if I can find time. This whole line has become a favorite of mine. I cannot get enough. Thanks for the review. I always enjoy reading about something I am currently smoking to sort of compare notes. A good cigar, a fine beverage, and the BOTL equals an excellent evening.

Peace

Nice review and pics. I love the #9 Parejo. Every time I smoke one, I marvel at the fact that Drew Estate made this great cigar.

I have yet to try one, but have a fiver on order that should be here Tuesday. I have wondered if the pigs are actually as good as some say or if it is just the novelty of a HTF Cigar is why they get so much hype.

Thanks for the review and pictures. I keep hearing good things about this cigar, perhaps it's time I buy some.
