I could always tell the guys that we hired to work in the warehouse that didn't play with them as kids because they couldn't stack a pallet for shit.

Legos here. A neighboor had lincoln logs and I would play with them there but never owned any.

I usualy used the pic on the box or I just bought sets so I could have more pieces to make things out of my imagination.

I had Lincoln Logs and Legos, but my favorite was the Erector set. Do they even make Erector sets anymore?

We got my grandson the Lego MegaBlock dump truck set for Christmas and my wife swears I have more fun playing with it than he does. :stretchgr

my brothers and I would build some k i c k a s s forts in the sand traps on the golf course. we'd dig tunnels for trap doors, caves and secret escape entrances and shit. the best was when we paired up lincoln logs, legos, greyskull castle and a millenium falcon. we manage to do our own replica for eternia/tattooine.

Never had an erector set either... Thought they stopped making them in like the 70's... I wasn't even born yet

I had Lincoln Logs and Erector set no Legos. Erector set too dangerous too many small items. We must have lost many friends to those little things.

It never occurred to me until I read this but I never had leggo's, lincoln logs or an erector set. No wonder I'm so maladjusted.:scratchhe

We used to build forts in the woods out of logs and stones and have dirt clod wars. Christ, now I feel as old as Lincoln.

I used to build forts too. I had an underground tunnel at one point with a fire place to the surface.

Of course I had tree houses too
