I like bourbon. I've been a Maker's Mark drinker for several years.... Over this past weekend I was handed a drink of Jameson's. I thought...this won't be near as good as my Maker's..... but I was very surprised. Hell I even enjoyed it. It was very smooth, easy drinking and had just a little spice on the back of it. Sure you all already knew this, but it had somehow escaped me until now.... I'm stoppin on way home from work this evening to pick up my own bottle....

Just like cigars, whisk(e)y has the beauty of many different types.
If you can splurge for something like Redbreast, you'll be greatly pleased. I really only drink Jameson when I'm out at the bar or something these days.

If you get an opportunity try Jamesons Black Barrel or 12 year old. They are both tasty.

A long while ago, I remember killing a bottle of Bushmills Triple Distilled 16 pretty quick. Then I got into bourbon. Need to get another bottle of Bushmills.

Maker's is my go to when I'm out at the bars, just recently had the Maker's 46. I was really impressed with it, have you ever had that one before?

Incidentally. Jameson is actually a little Scottish, depending on who you ask. Cause it was made by a Scotsman.

I'm a little surprised too that you only got to try it recently. Considering that the US is the largest customer for Jameson.

Although you guys do have a ton of choices. God, sometimes I hate it here in the Philippines. Most of the time the stores only have johnnie walker this or johnnie walker that.

Green spot is my everyday Irish whiskey. If im looking for something fancy, I mix in Midleton for special occasions.

I recently became interested in Irish Libations as well. Bought a bottle of Knappogue Castle 12 and have been enjoying it. Will be dabbling in others as well. Also tried Scotch for the first time and am acquiring a taste for that.

I was always a mixed drink or craft beer person and I had too much respect to be mixing high dollar scotches and whiskeys, lol.

'Sarcasm' Its fun to find new ways to spend more money than you should 'sarcasm', lol.

Can't stand regular Jameson.... but red breast is awesome! My dad gave me a bottle of Jameson black barrel. After opening and sitting it has become very nice.

Tullamore Dew is smooth and sweet. My current favorite is Powers, not as sweet or "appley" as Jamson. Tyrconnnel is pretty good too. Have fun.
