Our local high school team just beat the #4 ranked team in Arkansas 7A on national TV. They have the #1 rated junior Quarterback in the nation and he looked the part tonight. What a great game stopping a two point conversion to seal the win! We are ranked #3 in 6A, both are the highest divisions in thier respective states.
It's been a few years since we've had a good team and this years team looks pretty good. We had a hard time filling out our schedule so we have nothing but ranked teams (except 1 in our division) and play our arch rival Rockhurst twice in a home-home. Our coaches name is Ted Lepage and has taken a couple other smaller schools to state titles and wants to move up the coaching ladder. I'm betting he will win us a state title (maybe not this year but within the next couple as this is a young team) and then move up to a college job and he wants to coach in the NFL.
