Luva Sweet Easy Retrohale
Hello, BOTL!
I've been into cigars for a little over a year now (but I'm learning quickly).
Some of you will recognize me from another cigar forum. I've been a reader here for a while and would now like to become an active participant. I appreciate the friendly, civil tone that I generally find here.
I'm interested in finding people whose tastes match up with mine. I like cigars that have a sweet, easy retrohale, with complexity, balance, and richness. I have a strong aversion to the quality in cigar smoke that is like the aroma of burning grass, leaves, smoky wood, paper, ash, etc., and this causes me to dislike a lot of popular blends.
Some blends I like (rested a year or more): Arturo Fuente Hemingway Maduro “Work of Art”, Liga Privada T52, CAO Brazilia, La Riqueza, Rocky Patel Vintage 1990
I generally avoid stuff by Litto Gomez, Don "Pepper" Garcia, Pete Johnson (except La Riqueza and Cabaiguan maduro), etc., and most limited releases (since I rest most sticks a year, by the time I figure out if I like a limited release, it's too late to buy any more, so I generally don't bother even trying them).
Looking forward to getting to know y'all! (No, I'm not from the South, I live in Pennsylvania, but I occasionally have to borrow the second person plural pronoun, since we don't have one...)
