Hey folks. My name is David, and I've been smoking cigars for about 5 years now. I'm currently a home improvement contractor living in South Jersey, but will be moving to the North Western NC Mountains in the next year. During my visits to NC, I've herfed several times with riverdog (Jamie), who I'm pretty sure is a member here.
Up until about a week ago, I was very active (5 years, 7k+ posts) on the Cbid Forum, and spent a ton of money there. Let's just say that I didn't care for their "marketing" practices, and wasn't afraid to speak my mind. I logged in last week to find my account closed, no warning, no explanation, nothing. Oh, well, if they don't want my money, there's plenty of other places that do. What I do regret is leaving a bunch of great BOTLs, whom I've traded with dozens of times, and consider good friends.
Anyhow, I miss the camaraderie of my online buds, and am looking for new friends to discuss cigars with. Hopefully, this is the place.
