I am pretty much a Robusto/Toro Size Cigar Smoker. I have never been into Lancero or Corona Size Cigars, except for the Opus-X Petite Lancero, in the past.

I am looking to pick up on a smaller cigar and I am thinking a true Corona size 5.0" or 5.5" X 42rg or 44rg.

I would appreciate suggestions on any you have experience with, that are Med/Full - Earthy, Spicy, etc., However, I would also like to try some that have more of a sweet, honey, baked bread type profile.

Did some more thinking about this...

Spicy, earthy, medium body:
-Caldwell Long Live the King The Heater. Longer than you asked for, but close enough.
-Matilde Renacer corona
-Tatuaje brown label Noella
-My Father corona (can be found on cbid)
-DPG Blue lancero

Sweet, honey, baked bread, I would say look at the CC world for this one, lots of options
-Juan Lopez should be right up your alley
-Por Larranaga also has a very nice caramel and honey sweetness to it
-Hoyo de Monterrey, more of a sweet cream sweetness, but there's some honeyed sweetness to it as well
-Non CC: Warped Flor de Valle Cristales hits on all three cylinders. It's 6" long, but 42rg and will be exactly what you're looking for

I just smoke a Sevillana corona that might work for you as well. Excellent flavors of cedar, cream and a sweet citrus note with enough spice to keep it interesting. It is more toward medium though. It never gets into the full range. Good price point. Made by Caldwell.

For earthy/spicy, I'd look at AJ Fernandez - the Man O War original, the Ruination, and the Side Project Little Devil (don't let the size fool you, it's an ass-kicker) and you might look at the Diesel Unlimited and Hair of the Dog. Should fit the bill for med/full smokes.
Also, Punch Rare Corojo. Not as powerful as the above mentioned AJ's but still spicy.

For sweet/honey/bread, I'm watching this thread too...

Man O War Puro Authentico in both Habano & Maduro wrap are precisely what you're looking for. Good hunting!

edit: based on the flavors you're looking for, I also encourage you to begin drinking Rye immediately if you're not already into it

OP, based on your druthers I'd recommend the Southern Draw 'Quick Draw'...in Pennsylvania or maduro wrapper. Fits your profile perfectly. I prefer the bigger rg's, so I'm more into the Firethorn, but since it sounds like you are too, go to their website and order a sampler...You won't be disappointed! They are rolled by AJ Fernandez, and like others here, I've never been disappointed by one of their ceegars!

Is that an AJ Fernandez site or a vendor site?

Sorry to take so long to get back at ya! I ordered a sampler from Southern Draw, was HIGHLY impressed by the old school courtesy of Sharon and Robert Holt. They are a new company that seems to be doing everything right to get their company up and running, I support that, and their sticks are outstanding! When I received the sampler, I smoked a Liga Privada #9, a Padron 1926, and the Southern Draw Kudzu and Firethorn, all within a week or so of each other...and the SD's simply blew away the more expensive, esteemed sticks, and for a MUCH lower price point! The two super premium sticks were REALLY good, mind you...but the SD's were better! I like telling that story...it's the truth, and a good example of how price point is irrelevant when it comes to one's preferences in cigars...

Headly Grange I think fit this but the complexity of flavors may differ for you alittle

Have you tried the Caldwell Gibraltar? You can get a 10 pack for about 60 bucks. I've gone through quite a few of them myself and actually just ordered some more earlier today.
