I have tons of music but I always feel like I'm missing something really good that others enjoy. If you could only have 10 albums of any genre what would they be?

Mine in no particular order (at least for today):

The Who - Who's Next
Dave Brubeck - Time Out
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Steely Dan - Aja
Black Sabbath - Self titled 1st album
Johnny Cash - Live at San Quentin
Lou Reed - Rock n Roll Animal
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Joni Mitchell - Blue

I'm with you on Metallica Strife, but mine would be And Justice For All
Heh, I have a kick ass soundboard copy of a 2006 show in Imola, Italy marking the albums 20th anniversary, they performed the entire album!

My list is constantly changing, but I never get tired of listening to these and I like pretty much every song on the album:
Ballyrag - Where the Ocean Meets the 10
Chantal Kreviazuk - Under These Rocks and Stones
Rush - Moving Pictures
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous
Toto - Isolation
The Decemberists - The Crane Wife
Blue October - Consent to Treatment
Bruce Springsteen - The Rising
Styx - Greatest Hits
Switchfoot - Can't decide which one

You could ask me tomorrow, and it would be different.
