Looking to buy Nexus 7

OK, not much of an early adopter but this looks promising. :thumbsup:

Anyone with an opinion? Also, where the best place to purchase? Right from Google Play?

We got ours right from google as an early release to those who went to google IO. (they werent released at the con, but only about two weeks later. So we had them for a while)

The ones we had in the office were really great. Didnt once run into any problem other than screen scrolls were hesitant on occasion. However, the only reason we saw that was due to an article we read. Had we not read that, we may not have noticed it.

Nexus 7 is absolutely great.

That being said, each and everyone we had in the office has been sold, and we are all back to kickin ass with our iPads (gen2). But thats just due to the business we're in.

I think you cannot go wrong with that N7. I hope you enjoy it brother!

Thanks for the input. In my pool of friends, not one has the N7 so kinda relying on the net and my BOTL's.

I have had about 10 tablets, and ironically not 1 iPad. The 7 is the best one I have owned. I did have to get the wife an iPad the new one for our anny this summer. The 7 blows it away every time we have pitted the 2 against each other. There is a new one coming out with more memory, so you might want too hold off a little while.

I had a first-gen iPad and a third-gen iPad--traded the "new iPad" in for a Nexus 7 and haven't looked back. It's a great gaming device because it's much easier to hold than a 10+ inch tablet. Also very pocketable, for men at least. I wear a suit jacket every day and the Nexus 7 is always in my jacket pocket. Fantastic device for only $250.

Yeah, I will agree that the size is fantastic. Really nice and light. And it does have a rubbery feeling on the back so you don't feel like your goin to lose it.

Also yes, the price is great compared to the iPad. If that's something your concerned about.
