Here it is. The top is 2" thick white pine I bought for $10 at Habitat for Humanity. The base is a mix of black pipe. The.finish is black tea, then a solution of steel wool soaked in white vinegar. I am at about $140 and that all the iron pipe mostly. You can see the original wood color to the left on the floor.

That black pipe base is awesome!

I'd be proud to have that bad boy in my mancave any day of the week.

Nice job!!

It is just getting a low cost and low maintenance wax finish. I want to let it dry a day or two before waxing. I will not be buffing it much just nice dull finish to protect the color.

Very nice brother! I was looking to do something like this with my used pallets, just don't think the boards are thick enough and straight.

Here is the bet I have of the legs right now. Well until I am home.

The legs are 1-1/4" pipe reducing to 1" in the middle for the cross bar.

The finish went this way. On Saturday I cleaned oil off the steel wool, then dropped a nice big hunk in a quart mason jar then poured the vinegar to cover. Then Sunday I made black tea, brushed it on the wood and left to dry overnight. Then I brushed on the vinegar steel wool solution on the wood, and left it for a solid hour. I used pine which is a fairly tannin free wood, hence the reason for the tea. If using something like oak or walnut you shouldn't need the tea.
