Mag 46 or 50?

The MAg 50 I have had lately has tasted pretty much nothing!!! I would go for the 46 for that reason.

Didn't like either of them. Just got rid of a couple of boxes of mag 50s as they do suit my flavour profile.

46 tubos from 08. Most vendors have these and they are very very good.
If not those get the #2 or Connie 1. Just an Upmann whores perspective.

I would not know about the Mag 50. I have an 09 half cab of Mag 46 and they are coming along. Nothing to write home about, just yet but i think they have some really excellent potential.

I will for sure be picking up another half cab of these hopefully 2010 or 2011 if they have them as it is my understanding that the current Mag 46 production is stellar.

But then again i am how do you say, promiscuous with H. Upmann?

I 2nd the '08 Mag 46s, great already. I've only had one Mag 50 (recent but not sure the year), and thought it boring. The '10 #2 I had, though, was great.

It's funny you mention the Mag 46, I just had one today on the course. Except it was from 08. Tight draw for the first 2/3 of the way, finally loosened up at the end. Other than that, great stick - except it didn't seem as strong as my last few.

As ahbroody mentioned go for the Upmann No.2's. The recent ones have been very good. It's my favorite pyramid out there right now.:hearteyes

I love the Mag 50 more than 46, although the last 3 pack 46 tubos I got were all exquisite.

46 hands down. The 50's i have had lately have been a bit muted and flavorless.

46 for me. Though I have not tried the regular boxes, only enjoy the tubos so much. These being the 08 tubos, which are still available. Though Mediaz reports that the current production is stellar, I dont think I need to get them, until the 08 tubos are out.
