In 2010 or 2011 the movie Man of Steel came to Plano IL and literally across the street from my subdivision. I live in a somewhat rural area. They built Clark Kent's boyhood home and filmed there for several weeks. Helicopters, traffic jams and even a sighting at our golf course by Kevin Costner. I have a few pictures of all the madness. I meant to post this back then but it never happened.
Well sometime last September the full size prop house they disassembled after shooting is now back up and being guarded 24hrs a day. They're Back!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure what pics I can get. cause when they start shooting in the next month or two. They have the area on lockdown. Even the exit to my subdivision. (It's actually quite a pain in the ass!)

If I had a better camera I could just film it from my backyard. Being on the giant hill at the top of the subdivision I have a great vantage point.

Jfire I hope you don't mind I just got a plane ticket I will be there later on today to live with you. Lol.

I am a huge superman fan. The man of steel comics are number one on my list. I would love to watch the filming. The wife bought me the man of steel box set and I've watched the movie probably 40 times.

If you can get pics and post them up I would love it. I also just subscribed to this thread.

I'll try for pics but I can't tell you how much
A. these people are assholes (security)
B. How much they have it on lockdown during filming.

I watched that recently. It was pretty good until the last 30 minutes or so. The building destroying battle that I thought would never end was beyond stupid. Not sure if I'd be up to seeing a sequel.

Nice ! !

I can recall a trip to visit the parents and literally blocks away stumbling upon the old ass Tyler Durden home from fight club... at night, fenced off, no security, nobody for that matter...
eerie as shit and thinking wtf !

apparently filming was complete and was awaiting demolition.

Thanks
