But most of the so-called power cigars don't seem that strong to me anymore. The edge, camacho corojo, jdn 1970, tats, etc. Anybody else have that impression?

LMAO @ D... Honestly as I love a good strong cigar but I really love subtleties in cigars and flavors... A cigar could be light on body and strength but bold on flavor and complexities.

... To add to the thread, I must also say that once mild cigars now seem tasteless to my once unexperienced palate. Seems to be a no-win situation on both ends of the spectrum? lol

True.... I guess my point was that it seems like the strong cigar trend has to have some top end to it... It's really about flavor and complexity anyway, like with the new El T and the Air Bender.

I'm adjusting to stronger cigars; don't break out in a sweat or get numb-faced anymore (much...) Now, if I could just stop spitting every few puffs I'd be OK.

I second this...I really do prefer taste over strength however I do like a strong cigar to mix it up. Sometimes going back and forth keeps your cigars interesting...I prefer a Med-Full cigar but a Good solid Medium cigar can have a ton of flavor as well.

Switching up is a great way to keep your
palate working good. But there in lies the problem

what's gonna satisfy you if it not strong.

I really think with so many new cigars being so heavy on the ligero that the cigars we used to think were strong no longer fit the bill.

The new AVO LE10 is full of Ligero, and that is so unlike a stick from AVO. It's a growing trend and im not sure if I personally like it.
